GV II

Pair of cottages, nowa single house, C17, perhaps with an earlier core. Rendered
and whitewashed with some exposed timber framing. Thatched roof, half-hipped to
the left. Brick stacks to left, central and near right end. One and a half
storeys, 4 irregular window range. 2 and 3-light casements with leaded lights,
some of which are original, of cast-iron in heavy timber surrounds. C19/20
glazed porch with plain plank door. (RCHM, Dorset, vol.IV, p.109, no.18.)
