Pair of cottages. Probably C18. Brick walls. ½-hipped thatched roof; central
brick stack. One storey and attic. No.1 has slate-roofed lean-to at left end
with casement wall with glazing bars. Main house has part-glazed door, in C20
conservatory. Ground floor has 2 casements with glazing bars, under brick
arches. Attic has 2 dormers with casements with glazing bars. No.2 has
slate-roofed extension at right end, with metal window. Main house has C20
flush door in timber porch. Ground floor has one casement with glazing bars
and one C20 top-hung window with glazing bars. Attic has 2 dormers with
casements with glazing bars. Main ground floor room has large fireplace -
built up, with cambered oak lintel. Some exposed ceiling beams. RCHM Monument
