Detached house in garden, c.1840. Stone walls stuccoed and painted.
Slate roof with stone gable copings, rendered and painted stacks at gable
ends. Parallel ridges, rectangular plan. Two storeys. 3 windows,
with two large rounded bays each side of the front door. Sashes to bay
windows, of 2 : 3 : 2 lights with thin glazing-bars, fluted and reeded
pilasters between. Sashes have curved frames to match curvature of wall.
Sash window over entrance. Front door 6 fielded panels, C20. Rectangular
fan light over and bracketed canopy, C20. Western extension of house, with
hipped slate roof. Sash with thin glazing-bars on end wall, C19. Interior:
central hall. Staircase has Roman Doric newel, plain stick balusters
and plain handrails, C19. Reeded cornices in hall and landing.
