Two attached cottages. Early C19 and C18 (No. 17). Coursed, squared
rubble walls and roughcast to No. 17. Thatch roof with gable ends.
Brick stack at centre ridge, and rendered stack at right gable.
Two storeys. 4 windows to No. 15, 3 windows to No. 17. No. 15 has
symmetrical fenestration of one and two light cast iron casements with
glazing-bars, in wood frames. Ground floor has cambered brick
arches. Doors, to No. 15 plank-and-muntin studded with strap hinges,
C20. No. 17, 3 windows, two light C19 wood casements with glazing-bars.
Plank door to small porch. The north end has a single storey extension
with hipped thatch roof. (R.C.H.M. Dorset II, p.33 (14)).
