Former farmhouse, now private residence. C16, with rebuilding of the
south wall in C17. Rubble-stone and dressed stone walls, with a 2-stage
buttress at former east end of the building. Clay-tile roofs. Stone
stacks with moulded cornices at the gable ends. Two storeys and attics.
3 windows, 3-light hollow-chamfered mullion windows, with a continuous
string carried up and over each window and doorway. C20 metal casements
with lead lights. The west gable wall has a C16 window of 4 lights with
moulded reveals, and a label stopped. First floor C16 window of two
cinquefoiled lights with tracery in a square head. Label and returned
stops. Front doorway at centre of south wall has a depressed-arch head,
and plank door, glazed of C17. Small staircase wing on the north side.
Interior: two late C16 fireplaces, one with a square head and one with
a four centred head. C16 doorway with moulded jambs and segmental head.
