Longcutts Farm House

Farm house. Probably C17 origin - altered in early C19. Stone and brick walls,
part plastered, thatched roof, brick stack. One storey and attics. C19
two-storeyed wing at rear, has brick walls and thatched roof. Also modern
single-storey lean-to at rear with asbestos roof.
Main elevation has, on ground floor, two casement windows with cast iron diamond
lights. Attic has two hipped half-dormers with similar casements. Internally, main
ground floor room has large open fireplace with moulded timber lintel. Remains of
bread oven, and of circular curing chamber which preceded this.
