C17-early C18. House with attached barn. Walls - house part brick, barn cob.
Thatched roof, brick stack. One storey and attics. Timber lean-to extension north
of barn, with tiled roof. Barn has one ledged door. External brick projection at
junction with house - probably bread oven. Walls of house have large letter "M"
worked in dark headers, and remains of other ornamental dark header work. Ledged
door in reduced opening. Above this, two shallow recesses with arched heads -
possibly blocked windows. Second ledged door at south end of house. Ground floor
has one horizontally sliding sash window with glazing bars. Attic has one half
dormer with similar sash. Main ground floor room has large open fireplace with
bread oven.
