Formerly listed as West Holme Lodge. Detached house. Late C17 - early
C18. Dated terra-cotta plaque on porch, 1692 - no confirmation of this.
Brick walls, tiled roof with stone eaves courses and coped gables. Brick
end stacks. Two storeys. 2-storeyed porch with hipped roof. Plat band at
first floor level. Porch has round-arched doorway; above this a double-hung
sash window with glazing bars. Ground and first floors each have 3 similar
windows. Modern lean-tos at rear, with plastered walls and tiled roofs.
Internally, west ground floor room has 2 large open fireplaces with timber
lintols (formerly 2 rooms). East room has a C18 carved wood fireplace
surround. Brick boundary wall at front has square gate piers with stone caps.
