Detached cottage. C17 origin, altered in late C18. Plastered walls; thatched
roof - hipped at west end. Brick stack at east gable. One storey and attic.
Ledged door under slate pentice. Ground floor has 2 casement windows.
Attic has 2 dormers with Gothic style casements and lead lights. Lower brick
wing at rear, with tiled roof. Interior has large open fireplace - part built up -
and some exposed ceiling beams. Picturesque. RCHM Monument 24.
