II

Farmhouse. C17, greatly altered in C19 and C20. Coursed sandstone rubble;
Welsh slate roof and rebuilt brick chimney stacks. Altered hearth-passage
plan. 2 storeys, 5 bays with roughly-squared alternating quoins. Partly-
glazed 4-panel door and narrow 4-pane overlight in rendered surround to left
of centre. Replaced sashes, paired on ground floor, in C19 and C20 openings,
some with concrete sills and lintels. Eaves raised in C19. Steeply-pitched
roof with reverse-stepped gables. End and ridge stacks. Stepped external
chimneys on both returns; upper section of right chimney rebuilt in brick.
Added one-storey lean-to on rear. Interior refitted in late C19-early C20.
C20 farmbuilding on right and C20 2-storey wing on rear are not of interest.
