GV II
Lead mine level arch and retaining wall. Probably mid C19 for London Lead
Company. Irregular coursed squared sandstone with ashlar dressings. S-plan
retaining wall c. 2 metres high, with segmental-headed arch with voussoirs in
projecting curve at left. Receding curve at right encircles blocked mine
shaft on south-west. Wall has block coping.
