A C18 red brick house with C19 and later extensions. Two storeys. The east front has three window range and there is a two storeyed canted bay at the north end, with a parapet and a brick cornice. Two windows on the ground storey are blocked. The windows generally are double-hung sashes with glazing bars, in plain reveals. Roof tiled, hipped on the main block, The C19 addition on the west end is two storeys and attics, with a stopped gable.
The interior has a C18 panelled room, good doorways and a staircase with turned and twisted balusters.
All the listed buildings in the Village form a group (Dweina and No 1, Elm Cot and Lime Tree Cottage and Almshouses are buildings of local interest).
