COGGESHALL ROAD 1. 885 (North Side) BRAINTREE Essex County Library TL 7523 1/234 II 2. A late C19 grey gault brick building originally built as a County Court and now used as a Library, Stucco fronted with a parapet and cornice on paired console brackets. 1 storey. 3 window range, double-hung sashes with margin glazing bars, in stucco architraves, with cornices on console brackets. A moulded stucco stringcourse runs at window sill level, on console brackets under the windows. Each end breaks forward slightly, with a doorway on the east end and a window on the west end, set in rusticated semi-circular arches, with alternate voussoirs vermiculated.
