Built in 1839, it was enlarged between 1860 and 1877. The front is white gault
brick, now painted on the outer bays and plastered on the centre, 2 storeys.
3 window range, C20 easements, The front has a parapet and stucco cornice and
is divided into 3 bays by pilasters rising through 2 storeys. The centre front
breaks forward slightly above the pilasters and is recessed beneath the entablature.
The ground storey has C20 shops in C18 style at the north east and south west
ends. Included for group value.
All the listed buildings from No 68 to No 80 on the south east side form a group.
