TL 51 NW HATFIELD BROAD OAK WOOD ROW

Pair of houses. C17 or earlier. Timber framed with pebble dash. Long one
storey and attic block with gabled thatched roof. To the south is a lower block
with its own gabled thatched roof. Main block has 2 gable end stacks, 2 eyebrow
dormers and one ridge line stack. Windows are C19 small pane casements.
Thatched lean-to extension against north gable. Some jowled storey posts of
possible former in-line open hall structure.
