House. Mid C17. Timber framed and plastered with gabled double range, pegtile
roof. Of 2 storeys with later formerly lean-to extension on rear with white
weatherboarded rear wall. Front has 2 double hung sash windows with 2 vertical
glazing bars and a central plaster roundel. Ground floor has 2 similar windows
and central 4 panel door with late C19 gabled porch hood with pierced
bargeboards and tall finial. A box framed 2 bay house with original rear wall
stack. 3 old internal doors survive, one with panelling and old ironwork and a
length of C17 fretted balustrade at side of staircase. RCHM 21.
