House. Early C17, altered in early C19. Timber framed, mainly plastered,
framing exposed to left, roofed with handmade red plain tiles. 3-bay crosswing
of main range to right (now no. 110, item 9/218, q.v.). C19 stack in right side
at the junction, and C19 internal stack at rear. 2 storeys. On each floor one
early C19 sash of 16 lights. 6-panel door in simple doorcase with shallow flat
canopy; one stone step. Exposed close studding in left return, with straight
bracing. Early C19 fluted fire surround with paterae in front ground-floor
room. Chamfered axial beams with lamb's tongue stops. Rear girt chamfered with
lamb's tongue stops. Jowled posts. On first floor, 2 C18 battened and beaded
doors to closets. Part of RCHM 91.
