House. C17, altered in C18 and C20. Timber framed, plastered, roofed with handmade red plain tiles. 3 bays facing N, with central stack. 2 storeys and unlit attics. 2-window range of C19/20 sashes of 16 lights. C20 door in right return, in doorcase with shallow canopy on profiled brackets. All rear windows are C20 metal casements. In right bay, chamfered axial beam with plain stops, plain joists of horizontal section. In left bay, chamfered axial beam, unstopped, and replaced thin joists of vertical section. Wood-burning hearth blocked for C20 grate. The walls have been raised approximately 1 metre; the original wallplates and tiebeam are exposed in the right bay. C18 floorboards in attic. In left attic gable, C18 combed pargitting is exposed on what was formerly the external wall of no. 103. Clasped purlin roof. In attic doorway, battened door of 3 V-edged planks with strap hinges and 7 key-holes, C17 or earlier. Included for group value.
