Wrongly shown on OS map as Ironbridge Farm. House. C16, altered in early C19.
Timber framed, plastered with framing exposed, roofed with handmade red clay
tiles. 3-bay main range facing E, 3-bay crosswing to left, and internal stack
at the junction. C18/C19 internal stack at right end of main range. 2 storeys.
Ground floor, one C20 casement, one C20 splayed bay, one early C19 sash of 16
lights. First floor, 3 early C19 sashes of 12 lights and one of 16 lights.
Early C19 half-glazed door in gabled porch. Crosswing jettied at front but
underbuilt, bracket exposed at left side. Another gabled porch on left return

beam in the middle room of the ground floor, fragments of re-used C16 panelling,

C16. The name Ewen Bridge is claimed to be derived from early documents,
pre-dating the iron footbridge 150 metres to the NE.
