Cartlodge with granary over. Late C17/early C18, altered in C19. Timber
framed, mainly weatherboarded, partly clad with red brick in Flemish bond,
roofed with handmade red plain tiles. 3 bays aligned approx. N-S, cartlodge
open to E. One storey with loft. Lean-to extension to S, roofed with red clay
pantiles. Plinth of red brick approx. 0.5 metre high. N wall bricked. Plain
joists of vertical section, jointed to transverse beams with tenons with
diminished haunches and pendant soffits. Gambrel roof, half-hipped at both
ends.
