TL 50 SE ONGAR SHELLEY. Ongar Road

Cottage C16/17 with later additions and alterations. 2 bays and smoke bay.
Timber framed and plastered. Red plain tiled roof with 3 gabled dormers. 1
storey and attics with lean-to central C20 porch and single storey C20 extension
to right. 3 window range of C20 small paned casements. Central red brick
chimney stack with original back to back fireplaces with flat mantel beams over
to ground floor and fireplaces to first floor. Side purlin roof. Halved and
bladed scarf to top plates.
