C18. L plan, to rear of Nos 1 and 2. Pebble-dash over stone rubble, old
slate roof, 2 storeys with slate dripstone over ground floor, and 3 squat
chimneys. Boarded door. 2 windows on each floor in each wing (modern,
with small panes).
Nos 1 and 2, Nos 13 to 17 (odd) and Post Office form a group
on the main Windermere-Ambleside Road.
