C18, altered. Thick stone rubble walls covered with roughcast, old slate
roof and oval chimney, 2 storeys. A glazed door with modern timber porch,
slate dripstone over ground floor, and 5 modern windows. 2 round chimneys
at rear - one on a timber base.
Nos 1 and 2, Nos 13 to 17 (odd) and Post Office form a group
on the main Windermere-Ambleside Road.
