3/3 Nos 40 and 42

28.5.75 II

Pair of cottages. C17-C18. Rubble stone, thatched roof. Stone
chimney at S. end, brick in centre and N. end. 1-storey. Each cottage
has a modern central door flanked by 3-light casements, 4-light on
extreme right. Upper windows. 2-light cut up into thatch, 2 at No.40,
3 at No.42. Modern 1-storey extension to No.40, 1-storey brick and slate
lean-to on S. gable of No.42.
