The Gate of Honour and
Flanking Walls

1575. Designed by Dr Caius. Ashlar. Correct and varied use of Classical
detailing, in the form of a triumphal arch yet very small in scale. The
gate, with the flanking stone and red brick walls, forms the South range
of Caius Court. (RCHM).
