Retaining walls, steps and balustrade of terraced formal garden. Circa
1900. For Mr. Robert Hudson. Rendered retaining walls, stone steps and
balustrades. Balustrades to sides of terraces are arcaded with
rusticated piers and keyblocks. Main piers are also rusticated with
ball finials. Balustrade across front of terrace along S. side of
house is pierced in pattern of inverted fishscales. Central flight
of steps has side benches with carved stone scroll ends. Included
for group value.
