With Nos 1, 2 and 2A Free School Lane. Early C17; 3 storeys with attics
timber-framed and plastered; gabled end to Bene't Street projecting above
1st floor level; front to Free School Lane projecting at both 1st and 2nd
floor levels; most of windows C18, some with glazing bars. Front with
imitation half-timbered work. Interior modernized except for one early
C18 staircase. (RCHM l42).
[Nos l0, 12, l3 and the Church of St Bene't form a group.
