Farmhouse. Early C18, rebuilt mid C19. C18 red brick, C19 gault brick;
slate roofs. Two storeys, L-plan, with separate C18 bakehouse or dairy
included in rear C19 addition. Main street facade of five 'bays' cased in
gault brick. Two tall square stacks. Central, double, glazed garden doors
with margin glazing bars and rectangular fanlight; four, six-paned hung sash
windows slightly recessed in cambered brick arches, four similar first floor
windows. Verandah with glazed roof and cast iron Anthemnion frieze and
pilasters. Fire insurance plaque above doorway. Interior has largely C19
details, the original closed string staircase with barley-twist balusters is
rebuilt in C19 staircase hall.
