Row of estate cottages. C18 and C19. Red brick and tiled half hipped roof with
plain brick eaves cornice and three ridge stacks with projecting capping. Two
storeys and attic and plat band between storeys. Six hipped dormers with tiled
cheeks. Six window range of recessed cross frame casements. Similar windows
ground floor and doorway with boarded door under lean-to canopies on brackets.
A row of similar brick cottages is shown in a water-colour by Humfry Repton for
his remodelling of the park in 1801. His survey map of 1801 also shows four
semi detached pairs.
