Dairy and dairy cottage. 1862. Gault brick, limestone dressings. Slate
roofs octagonal over the churn house. End stacks each with two octagonal
shafts on rectangular base. Plan of cottage range with octagonal churn house
on the west side and entry in porch on west side of the churn house. Gabled
porch has pierced bargeboarding and a doorway with four centred arch in square
head with label and male and female mask stops. Original door and iron
furniture. Single storey. One large cross-frame casement with ovolo transome
and mullions and iron diamond lights to each of four sides. Cottage range has
smaller casements with labels and return stops to two storeys. Interior:
churn house has a vaulted ceiling with ribs springing from foliate corbels.
The walls are tiled.
