Row of six cottages, possibly estate cottages. C18. Clay bat and timber
framed, rendered and long straw thatch roof with five ridge stacks, including
one to Nos 151 and 153 of red brick. Single range plan. One storey and
attic. Modern applied framing to the front. Although the cottages have been
much altered each was symmetrically designed. Six gabled dormers with five
leaded light casements. At ground floor each cottage has a ground floor
casement in an original opening, a single light window divided by a transome
possibly to light a pantry or staircase, and a doorway. Some of the cottages
have been extended at the rear C20.
