C16 cottage with inserted floor to hall dated 1593 on ceiling beam. One-storey and
attic. Three unit plan. Timber-frame rendered, with colour-washed brick gables
and foundations. Half-hipped thatched roof, ridge stack. Two modern dormer windows and
three casement windows at ground-floor. Modern oak door in line with stack. Interior:
Stop chamfered ceiling beams, moulded mantel beam and original seat to two inglenook
hearths. Tie beam has been removed from original position in hall to modern rear
extension.
