C16 cottage with original 'open-hall' plan and jettied cross-wing of two bays;
furthur C17 extension to east. Thatched, timber-framed and rendered. Brick stack
with two brick pilasters, inserted into original chimney bay. Side stack to cross-
wing concealing original three-light diamond mullion window at first-floor. Ridge
stack to left-hand, and gabled dormer. Four windows, horizontal sliding sashes with
glazing bars and shutters. Modern panelled door.
Interior: two inglenook hearths. Pargetting within a frame of bolection moulding in
first-floor room. Panelled C17 doors with frieze and carved panel, original hinges.
Good plank door with strap hinge. Reset C17 balusters at head of stairs.
