ST 78 SE SODBURY LYEGROVE

2/122 Lodge to Lyegrove
House, gates,
gate piers and walls

II

Dated 1835 in gable over door. Probably by Charles Dyer (of Bristol). Gothic style.
Ashlar. Slate roof. Octagonal ashlar stacks. T plan. One storey. Y tracery windows
under hoodmoulds with return stops. Castellated parapet with curved and stepped
gables containing blank quatrefoils.

Four centred arch doorway faces drive.

In front of lodge, 4 ashlar gate piers with trefoil headed panels and ball finials.
Ashlar quadrant walls terminating in piers. Simple cast-iron gates.
