Here lieth the bodies of Rice Davis Esquier whoe reedified this chappel & died the 2 of Septem 1638 and Dorothie his wife (daughter of Morris Rodney Esq. & sister & coheire to Sr George Rodney Knight) shee died the 12 th of January 1604 and had issue between them. 3 sones deceased & 3 daughters now livinge viz Joan Elizabeth & Margaret. My dayes are like a shadowe that fadeth & I am withered like grasse Psal. Cij verse X
