Lodge. 1835 datestone with initials G B and BURROW LODGE in
each gable end, built from timbers of the Bellerophon (broken
up in 1832) by the ships surgeon. Stucco on probable rubble;
very steep dry slate roofs with projecting eaves and verges
with shaped barge boards including to lower gable central to
front side; brick end stacks. Simple Gothic style. Small
rectangular plan plus small extensions.
2 storeys with 1st floor partly in roof space; pointed-arched
windows. Central window in form of cross to front gable; 2
windows with glazing bars and intersecting tracery to ground
floor and lean-to porch on the left. Left-hand gable end has
similar windows: 2 to each floor plus 2 blind windows at
higher levels.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
