Formerly farmhouse, now house: late C18 with C20 alterations.
Flemish bond orange brick with yellow headers, Welsh slate roof, 2
gable brick chimneys. Narrow double-pile plan. 3-storey symmetrical
3-bay front. End bays have 2-light horizontal sliding sashes with
glazing bars below, C20 casements at 1st floor and 6-pane sashes
above, all with flat wedged, gauged and rubbed brick heads. Central
bay has attractive cast-iron mid C19porch with a flat roof. This is
made of pierced panels. 6-panelled door (2 glazed) in C20 wooden
doorcase.
Interior: open well painted pine staircase with pairs of moulded
square balusters on each tread and circular newels. Room to left has
pair of cupboards with panelled doors in reeded architraves.
6-panelled pine doors with raised fields. Brick-vaulted cellar with
stone steps.
