Tombchest: earliest date 1812. Buff sandstone. Neo-classical style.
Moulded plinth carries clasping pilasters with Adam style detailing.
End panels have circular bosses of acanthus leaves. Side panels have
elliptical inscribed tablets surrounded by radiating gadrooning, the
inscription beginning "Underneath" in highly ornate copperplate.
Plain cornice to now damaged top slab.
