Courtyard of farmbuildings: late C17 and C18 with recent alterations.
English and English garden wall bond red brick Welsh slate roofs (some
corrugated asbestos). North range was threshing barn. 2-storey, 5-bay
south front. Plain band at 1st floor which rises over partly blocked
entrance with segmental brick arch. Inserted opening at the left end
and some windows below. 5 square pitch holes with segmental heads in
line of ventilation slots above. West range is shippon. 2-storey,
6-bay east side, partial sandstone plinth. Plain band at 1st floor.
Inserted openings below, 5 square pitch holes above. South range is a
2-storey, 3-bay granary with band at 1st floor and brick coped gables.
South-east angle has 1-storey former carthouse of red sandstone blocks
with brick alterations.
Interior: west range is reported to have a series of early timber
trusses that probably came from an earlier building on the site.
