Footpath guidepost at junction of Pipers Lane, opposite the White House.

Footpath guidepost: late C19. Cast-iron, slightly tapering,
octagonal shaft on plinth. Shaft has inscription of plain raised
letters reading WIRRAL FOOTPATHS ETC. PRESERVATION SOCIETY BY
PERMISSION OF THE COUNCIL. Moulded cap and ball finial have single
repaired finger plate with nicked corners bearing inscription in
raised plain letters PUBLIC FOOTPATH with To Chester - Parkgate Road
painted below.
