Pair of houses. Mid C18, with later alterations. Coursed rubble with
quoins, stone slate roof. 2 storeys, continuous outshut to rear. Each
house has 2 wide bays plus central doorway, house to right has
additional 12-pane sash window over door. Windows in bay 1 are 4-pane
sashes in projecting ashlar surrounds; in bay 2, 9-pane sashes with
projecting sills and lintels; in bay 3, C20 tripartite sashes with
projecting sills and lintels; in bay 4, sashes with marginal panes in
projecting ashlar surrounds. Small timber porches around C20 glazed
doors. Shaped kneelers, ashlar copings, 5 ridge stacks with classical
cappings.
