Bridge. Dated 1733. For Charles, Duke of Bolton. Rubble on ashlar
foundations. 2 segmental arches of rubble voussoirs with plain archivolts
separated by triangular cutwaters. Plain parapets. Inscription on outside
of north-east abutment "C:D:B 1733". At north end of carriageway, 2 ashlar
gate-piers on bases, with cornices and ball finials. Southern part of the
bridge is in West Witton Parish.
