9/75 Peacock's Cottages East

GV II

3 cottages. Early C19. Rubble, stone slate roof. 2 storeys, 4 first-floor
openings in all. Left cottage: to right, 6-panel door in plain ashlar
surround on plinths, to its left blocked low-level opening with segmental-
arched soffit to ashlar lintel. One bay of sash windows with glazing bars
with projecting sills and sill-like lintels. Centre cottage identical but
without low-level opening. Right cottage: part-glazed door in plain ashlar
surround on plinths. 2 bays 4-pane sash windows with projecting sills and
sill-like lintels. Shaped kneelers and ashlar copings overall, stacks at
ends and between bays one and 2, 2 and 3.
