School and master's house. Dated 1847. Coursed rubble, Welsh slate roofs.
Irregular cruciform plan. Single-storey school with 2-storey house behind.
School 1:1:1:1:3 bays. To right, lower range with quoins to right and, from
left: board door in ashlar surround with double-chamfered single-light
window to its right, all with hoodmould; 2 double-chamfered mullion windows;
shaped kneeler, ashlar coping and corniced stack to right. Main range, next
3 bays: central bay projecting and gabled; in each bay a 3-light mullion and
transom window, central window with raised numerals giving date and vent in
gable, and with single-light window in left and right returns of projection;
shaped kneelers, ashlar coping, with finial on central gable, and corniced
ashlar end stacks; part of weather-vane in centre of ridge. To left, lower
bay, with left gable kneelered and coped, and in left return board door in
double-chamfered quoined surround and double-chamfered single-light window.
Left return of rear range (School House): central board door in double-
chamfered quoined surround, flanked by double-chamfered cross windows on
each floor; shaped kneelers, ashlar coping, corniced end stacks.
