Church of St Paul

A Grade II Listed Building in Aldbrough St John, North Yorkshire

St Paul's church from the south west

Uploader's Comments

This church, built as a chapel of ease in 1890, occupies a prominent site within the village. Although somewhat plain externally, it has a fine stenciled ceiling within carefully designed to emphasise the difference between the temporal in the nave and the spiritual in the chancel and sanctuary.
