Dated 1714 but probably refaced in latter part of C18. A 2-storey thinly
coursed sandstone "brick" 5 bay former manor house with barn under same roof.
Stone slates, saddlestones with kneelers. Flanking corniced chimneys. The
symmetrical house front has rusticated quoins and platband between storeys.
Windows, with C19 glazing, have architrave surrounds. The platband is arched
over architrave doorway to contain plaque inscribed H over T M 1714. Mid C19
cottage built onto east end of barn.
