Commercial premises. Late C19. Ashlar, green slate roof. 3 storeys, 6 bays and
rounded corner bay. Panelled pilasters divide bays. Corner bay, on right, has
round turret and dome with iron finial. Round-arched entrance has clustered
columns, leaf capitals and gabled pediment with carved tympanum. To right of
entrance 3 stilted-arched windows with moulded surrounds and colonnettes; to left
2 shop windows, the upper portions divided by pilasters. 1st floor: 2 3-light
and 4 2-light windows with round-headed lights and carved friezes above. 2nd
floor: 2 4-light and 4 3-light windows. Modillioned cornice. Gabled attic with
Venetian window. Included for group value.
