Chest tomb. Mid Cl7. For Thomas Murgatroyd of Murgatroyd and East Riddlesden Hall,
d.1653 (Heginbottom). Coursed squared stone. Base: upper portions of corners have
leaf carving; central bulbous decorative feature to north side. Top slab: lugged,
with moulding (forming cornice to base); brass panels inset, 2 surviving, one with
coat of arms.
