Barn. Mid C18. Thin coursed rubble, stone slate roof. Aisle to east,
projecting porch to west. Quoins to angles and to opposed cart entries, square
headed forming portal in aisle which continues to form 2 tall stone pointed
Gothic arches, thin stone voussoirs and 3 bays. Return walls have square headed
pitching hole to apex. Isolated moorland location near ruined early C18
farmhouse. This barn belongs to a group which have pointed stone arches instead
of timber trusses. (q.v. White Slack, White Slack Gate).
