Field Head House

II


Large house. Early C.19. Painted ashlar front with brick back and
side elevations. Hipped slate roof with moulded stone brackets to
gutter. Two storeys. Symmetrical 3-bay facade. Central Doric
portico with full entablature. 3-light stone mullioned windows to
left and right, both floors, with single light over doorway. Rear
elevation has central door with round arched staircase window above.
3-light windows, as before, to each side, both floors.
